Junior AI Analyst

We are seeking an AI Development Intern for an entry-level position. This is a hybrid position 

(4 days on-site; Austin candidates only). Must be on our W2; we cannot work with any C2Cs or provide sponsorship. 

This is for a student or recent graduate with a strong interest in applied artificial intelligence, development, and data work. No prior professional experience is required-this role is for someone early in their career who is eager to build practical, hands-on skills using modern AI-assisted development tools.

You will work primarily with AI-assisted development platforms such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Snowflake to support development and database-related tasks. The role is technically focused rather than business-facing, and the intern will collaborate closely with data analysts rather than business stakeholders. Work will be performed in support of data surrounding an in house application and environment - you will not work directly within the application itself, but on adjacent data assets and pipelines.

Responsibilities

*             Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Copilot, Snowflake) to support coding and database tasks

*             Assist with writing, testing, and troubleshooting queries and scripts under guidance from senior team members

*             Support development and maintenance of data structures, pipelines, and database objects surrounding the application

*             Collaborate with data analysts to understand data needs and support requests

*             Help document technical processes, code changes, and data workflows

*             Assist in testing and validating data outputs for accuracy and quality

*             Learn and apply best practices for AI-assisted software and database development

*             Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

*             Take direction from senior developers/analysts and escalate issues as needed

Requirements

*             Basic understanding of programming and/or database concepts (e.g., SQL fundamentals)

*             Interest in learning AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Snowflake

*             Willingness to learn, take direction, and work under supervision

*             Good communication skills, particularly with technical peers

*             Detail-oriented with a willingness to ask questions

Preferred

*             Coursework or class projects involving SQL, databases, or data analysis

*             Exposure to any AI coding assistants (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)

*             Internship, co-op, or academic project experience involving development or data work
