Software Engineer with Public Sector experience

We are seeking a Software Engineer with proven experience on State of California projects. This is a multi-year contract position that offers flexibility to work anywhere within California, with a preference for candidates based in Sacramento.

 

This role is ideal for candidates familiar with California state systems and regulations and seeking a long-term contract opportunity. Candidates will be able to work from any location within California, with a preference for those in or near Sacramento.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and test software applications to meet project requirements.

- Support system enhancements and ongoing improvements.

- Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.

- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience working on State of California projects.

 

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 3 or more years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
