Salesforce Software Developer

We are seeking a Salesforce Software Developer for a 12 Month Hybrid (one day/wk onsite with our Austin, Texas client) supporting a one-year initiative delivering three new legislative-focused applications within the Salesforce ecosystem. This developer will partner closely with a Technical Admin / Product Owner to build and enhance two fiscal management solutions-a legislative tracking tool requiring new workflow development for statewide visibility, and a bill analysis application-as well as support an innovative proposal using Salesforce Agentforce to evaluate legislation and generate fiscal notes.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Salesforce development experience including Apex, Lightning components, Flow, integrations, and custom application design, with the ability to build scalable solutions in a collaborative small-team environment. Candidates should be comfortable contributing technical ideas beyond standard platform approaches, demonstrating creativity in solution architecture and implementation. Experience understanding Salesforce licensing implications and designing within platform constraints is highly valued. This role will work closely with a platform engineer, business analyst, project manager, and team lead in a fast-moving delivery environment supporting legislative priorities. Candidates must be located in or near Austin Texas and willing to work onsite one day per week.

Qualifications:

*             Strong Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flow, integrations)

*             Experience designing custom workflows and platform automation

*             Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce or Salesforce AI capabilities

*             Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions

*             Understanding of Salesforce licensing and platform limitations

*             Strong collaboration skills within Agile delivery teams
