We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst & Knowledge Management Specialist for a hybrid assignment (minimum 3 days/wk onsite) with our Austin, Texas client. In this position, you will be a partner with business and IT leadership to drive organizational transformation through analysis, process improvement, training, and change enablement. This role bridges business needs and technology solutions, supporting enterprise modernization initiatives while ensuring strong governance, clear communication, and lasting user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead business and IT assessments, gap analyses, and requirements gathering to support system modernization, migrations, and enhancements.
• Develop AS-IS/TO-BE process models, solution comparisons, and roadmaps to inform decision-making.
• Support and improve governance, intake, and portfolio management processes, including ServiceNow workflows and visual tracking (KANBAN).
• Contribute to PMO maturity through templates, methodologies, and project support; oversee consulting resources as needed.
• Design and deliver training programs and knowledge assets (user guides, process documentation, eLearning, and train-the-trainer materials).
• Establish knowledge management practices such as Super User programs, wikis, and post-deployment support models.
• Support change initiatives through communication planning, training, vendor coordination, testing, and deployment readiness.
Required:
• 15 years of experience in business analysis, training, and knowledge management in public sector, healthcare, or enterprise environments.
• Strong experience documenting and optimizing complex business processes and governance frameworks.
• Expertise with ERP (PeopleSoft), EHR, SaaS, and enterprise or government systems.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, SharePoint, and portfolio or project management tools.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred
• PMO or project management experience.
• Public sector RFP and technical documentation experience.
• Instructional design and eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
• Strong visual and written communication skills.
