Title: Salesforce Developer (Legacy Migration VB6/.NET/Java/SQL) Experience Cloud

Location: Texas Remote - Must be able to commute to Austin and do an on-site 2nd interview.

Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in Salesforce Experience Cloud, a contract position with our Austin, Texas client. Must be able to commute to Austin for an on-site 2nd interview. This position will migrate the Legacy VB6/.NET/Java/SQL application to the Salesforce Public Sector Solutions platform. It can be worked remotely from anywhere in Texas (within 2 hours of Austin, highly preferred). The role will own discovery, solution design, build, integration, data migration, and go-live for a scalable, auditable license management solution on the Public Sector Solutions Platform.

Requirements: 

• 5 years Salesforce development experience: Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, security/sharing, platform events.
• 3 years migrating legacy applications, with the ability to read and translate VB6 and .NET (C#/VB.NET) and Java code into Salesforce designs.
• Strong SQL expertise (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL), including schema design, complex queries, and optimization.
• Proven track record delivering integrations (REST API middleware) and large‑scale data migrations.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
