- A minimum of five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects valued at $2 million or more, including at least three (3) years in business systems analysis and design.
- At least three (3) years of progressively complex experience (including two (2) years in lead capacity) performing:
- Application triage and troubleshooting
- Business requirements elicitation and documentation
- Project management tasks
- Two (2) or more years of experience working with the California Department of Technology's Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) process, particularly in Stages 3 and 4, including preparing required documentation and artifacts.
- Two (2) or more years of recent experience as a business analyst, involving one or more of the following:
- Documentation development
- Application requirements analysis
- Business process analysis or re-engineering
- Application testing or user training
- Three (3) or more years of experience using requirements management tools, such as JIRA.
- Three (3) or more years of experience analyzing legislative mandates or regulatory changes and determining impacts on system requirements.
- Two (2) or more years of experience working with the California Department of Technology's Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) process, particularly in Stages 3 and 4, including preparing required documentation and artifacts.
- A bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, or equivalent qualifying experience (9 years total if no degree).
